Calling All Herbalists, Homesteaders and Medicine Makers
Planting season has begun!! It may still be cold and windy, but our thoughts are to spring and all the new plants we will be offering. In addition to all our culinary herbs we are planting medicinal herbs.
Our plants are all grown from organic seeds in organic potting soil-we mix our own-and are grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers. Our farm is Certified Naturally Grown https://www.naturallygrown.org/cng_farm/peace-and-harmony-farm/ We join many farms in our area that follow these practices.
Most of our plants are sold in 4” pots $5.00 A few may be larger and priced accordingly. (think horseradish and elderberry!)
We are also offering fresh and dried herbs throughout the season. A few on the list are: Calendula, Chamomile, Echinacea, Ginger, Lemon Balm, Lemon Grass, Lemon Verbena, Nettle, Tulsi, Yarrow. If you are interested in being a part of these harvests, please reach out to us so we can plan our fields accordingly!!
Stay tuned as we are still working out a date for our first farm plant sale-it will be one weekend in April?
There will also be pickup at Blacksburg Farmers Market and possibly Leap West End Market
